Wholesale FAQ – Downward Frog Yoga Mats
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We offer a low MOQ of just 10 mats, making it easy for studios, shops, and retailers of any size to get started stocking Downward Frog mats.
Are your mats eco-friendly?
Yes! Our mats use sustainable, high-quality materials. The bases are made from natural tree rubber that is biodegradable, and our tops are either vegan suede (made using recycled plastic bottles in the fiber) or PU vegan leather (with coconut fibers) on our Grippit mats. We use as eco-friendly materials as possible without compromising on durability or quality, unlike cheaper PVC or TPE mats which are non-biodegradable and prone to odor and sweat.
Can I resell the mats to students or customers?
Yes. Studios and shops can either resell used mats at a discount or buy extra from us to sell brand new. Alternatively, we can provide printouts with QR codes for student discounts or a digital discount code to share with your students.
What is the lead time for orders?
Orders under 50 mats (stock dependent) can usually be dispatched within a week. Because we are a small independent business, at this stage larger orders requiring manufacture can take 8–16 weeks. If you want your mats faster, we can sometimes expedite for an additional cost. We’ll provide a more accurate timescale once quantities are confirmed.
Are custom or branded mats available?
Yes! We can discuss custom branded mats, logos, or special designs for a minimum order of 100 mats. Get in touch to talk through options.
Do you ship everywhere in the UK?
We offer affordable and speedy delivery depending on quantity and location. We can also explore international shipping outside the UK - just let us know and we can look into pricing options.

Which mat should I choose / Why choose our mats?
- Microfiber mats are available in thick 4mm or travel 2mm, making them perfect for studio use or mobile events. The microfiber is moisture-wicking, easy to clean, and durable.
- Grippit mats are thicker, extremely grippy, and ideal for studios, Pilates, or classes where stability is essential. The premium coconut fiber/frosted PU top prevents sweat marks and odors.
- We generally recommend thicker mats for regular studio or Pilates use unless you need to transport them frequently for events or retreats.
Are your mats suitable for Pilates?
Yes. Our mats are excellent for Pilates, especially the thicker Grippit mats for stability. Microfiber mats also provide extra grip, cushioning, and moisture-wicking for higher-intensity or hot Pilates sessions.
Do you supply mats for kids’ classes?
Yes! We currently offer one fun, gender-neutral design called Froglet, available only in 2mm size. It’s perfect for kids’ yoga and Pilates, schools, or wellness programs, providing a safe, non-slip, and colorful experience.
I need some mats for my pop up classes, is Downward Frog a good choice?
Yes! We supply cafes/bars and shops that run weekly or occasional yoga classes in spare spaces or basements. Our mats help create a community feel, connect with customers, and bring extra footfall.
