    About the Teacher

Bex is a 200-hour trained Ashtanga yoga teacher with a lifelong passion for yoga, sparked in her teens practicing with her mum’s 90s VCR. As one of the co-founders of Downward Frog, she combined her love of yoga with her experience in product design to create mats that inspire and support every practice. After being made redundant in 2016, Bex travelled to Thailand to deepen her practice and teacher training, and she’s never looked back. She believes yoga should feel inclusive, approachable, and fun, especially for those new to it. Her down-to-earth teaching style encourages people to move in ways that feel right for them, building confidence and making private sessions relaxed and enjoyable. Bex’s sessions are ideal for hen parties, corporate yoga events, and private classes, where she combines expert teaching with a lighthearted, fun approach, making every session inspiring, energising, and memorable.

    FAQ

    Can beginners join?

Absolutely. Our sessions are designed to be inclusive and beginner-friendly, so no previous yoga experience is needed. We adapt the class to suit mixed ability groups, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident.

How many people can join a session?

We typically run sessions for small to medium-sized groups, but can accommodate larger groups depending on the space available. Please note we have 45 mats available, so let us know your estimated numbers when you enquire to make sure everyone is covered.

Do you offer discounts for repeat or regular bookings?

Yes. If you’re looking to book regular sessions for your team or organise multiple events, we’re happy to create a tailored package rate. Ongoing corporate wellbeing sessions and repeat bookings can benefit from preferential pricing — just let us know what you have in mind.

Can we choose the style or focus of the session?

Yes. Whether you’d prefer a relaxed stretch, energising flow, stress-relieving corporate session, or something fun and light-hearted for a hen do, we tailor the session to your group and accommodate special requests wherever possible.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for summer weekends and peak hen party season. That said, if your event is coming up soon, it’s always worth getting in touch to check availability.

Can sessions take place outdoors or at unique venues?

We can run sessions in homes, gardens, offices, studios, hired venues, hotels, parks, or other suitable spaces. We do ask that for outdoor events please have an alternative location available for if weather takes a turn for the worst.

What if we need to change the date or number of participants?

We understand plans can shift. Let us know as soon as possible and we’ll always do our best to accommodate changes where we can.

    Do you offer home visits?

Yes. We regularly run private yoga sessions in clients’ homes across London. One-to-one sessions and small group classes work perfectly in a living room, garden, or shared space, provided there’s enough room for mats.

    Do you provide a location?

We don’t provide a venue, but we travel to you anywhere in London. Simply secure your space — home, Airbnb, office, hotel, studio, or outdoor area — and we’ll bring everything needed for the session.

Do you offer gift vouchers or yoga sessions as a present?

Yes, private yoga sessions can make a thoughtful gift for birthdays, special occasions, or wellbeing treats. Get in touch and we can arrange a voucher option.
