Not because the world needed another yoga mat, but because we believed people deserved one they'd actually look forward to rolling out.

One that made them smile. One they wanted to leave out. One that felt like them.

For years, wellness has become increasingly uniform. Minimal. Neutral. Perfectly curated.

Somewhere along the way, movement started to feel like something you had to do, rather than something you wanted to do.

We think there's another way.

At Downward Frog, we're bringing colour, creativity and personality back into wellness, proving that movement doesn't have to be beige to be mindful.

Every design starts as original hand-drawn artwork by co-founder April before being transformed into a yoga mat that's made to perform just as beautifully as it looks.

Alongside co-founder Bex's experience as a yoga teacher and product developer, every mat is designed to balance creativity, comfort, grip and durability because beautiful products should never compromise on performance.

We're just as passionate about how our mats are made as how they look.

From responsibly sourced natural rubber and water-based inks to carefully vetted manufacturing partners who share our values, we're committed to creating products with more conscious materials and ethical production practices wherever possible.

Because at the end of the day... We're not really in the business of selling yoga mats. We're in the business of inspiring daily movement.
